Match Charter Public School is a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving 1,250 students. Our mission is to prepare students for success in college and careers in order to achieve economic security and mobility. Students gain acceptance to our schools via an annual blind public lottery open to all Boston residents.
Our families bring amazing racial and cultural diversity to the school community - they represent over 20 different countries of origin with over 20 different languages spoken at home. 94% of our students are people of color. We have an immediate opening for an inclusion aide at our middle school . The position is based at Match Middle located on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain.
The Inclusion Aide is an integral member of our school team, and is a great opportunity for someone who relishes the idea of working with students with special needs. The inclusion aide role allows for the fostering of an inclusive community, skill development, social-emotional growth, and the unique opportunity to support a student. The aide will be expected to provide help with implementation of skills and goals in line with the students educational and therapeutic needs. Throughout the school day, the aide will support the student during instructional times both in and out of the classroom, and during lunch, breaks, and other non-instructional times.
Inclusion Aides are responsible for developing deep relationships with students, and leveraging those relationships to ensure that students are getting the support they need to meet their academic and personal potential.
This is a full-time hourly position. The starting salary is $52,499 and can be higher if the candidate has prior relevant experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.
