This is a fixed term contract for up to 1 year.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) to gain valuable experience in both Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Corporate Reporting within a dynamic international business. This one-year contract will provide exposure to a wide range of financial activities with a focus on our international operations. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and a keen interest in developing their career in finance.

This role is based in the UK and working from our offices in Soho (2 days per week) and remotely from home for 3 days. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Support the maintenance of financial models for consolidating, forecasting and analysing the performance of international business units.
- Assist in the consolidation and preparation of monthly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process for international operations.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Corporate Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, recording journal entries for international entities.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly account reconciliation and investigation of differences plus other monthly analysis.
- Support the consolidation process, reviewing intercompany balances and resolving mismatches across group entities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and reporting requirements and support the annual audit process.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the international divisional finance teams and other departments to gather data and provide financial support.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
- Process Improvement:
- Support the identification and implementation of process improvements in financial reporting and analysis.
Key Competencies required:
Essential experience: Accounting experience at entry level 1-2 years.
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) actively pursuing qualification
- An interest in transitioning to Financial Planning & Analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Media preferred but not required.
- Advanced Excel skills (experience with financial modelling is a plus). PowerPoint and PowerBI knowledge a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
