Description
In this role you will report directly into the Senior Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Leading digital and firmware development, from architecture, component selection, design, verification/validation, to implementation and production ramp-up.
- Designing and implementing digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.
- Developing and optimizing FPGA-based solutions for specific applications.
- Collaborating with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest embedded high-speed systems technologies and industry trends.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of FPGA experience
- Electrical or Computer Engineering Degree
- Digital design fundamentals understanding
- Verilog or VHDL familiarity
- Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) or embedded systems is a plus
- Complex circuit board design process experience a plus
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
