REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:
- Conduct frequent visits to assigned communities.
- Oversight on a daily, weekly, or PRN basis of the Executive Director/Administrator regarding the following key areas of the business:
- Occupancy & Revenue Oversight
- Move-Ins and Move-Outs
- Key Sales Ratio Compliance
- Sales Strategy
- Rental Rate Integrity
- Care Revenue and Case Mix Management
- Financial Management
- Budget Compliance
- Ongoing Financial Analysis & Review
- Expense Management
- A/R Management
- Pay Scale Integrity
- Staffing Management
- Associate Onboarding & Continual Training
- Associate Evaluations, Performance Reviews & Promotions
- Associate Engagement & Appreciation
- Associate Relations, Grievance & Concerns
- Worker's Compensation Claims
- Resident Engagement
- Resident Satisfaction
- Resident Hospitality
- Resident Retention (Turnover)
- Resident Length of Stay
- Resident / Family Grievance / Concerns
- Operations Standards
- Policy & Procedure Compliance
- Licensing Oversight
- Departmental Operations Standards Compliance
- Signature Programs Compliance
- Participate in annual Strategic Initiative Development and Compliance
- Participate in Corporate Compliance Initiatives
- Participate in regular Corporate Meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of regional management and supervisory experience. Master's degree a plus. Experience in Senior Living, preferably including Independent, Assisted, Memory Care, Skilled Care experience a plus.
- Must have a valid state driver's license with no infractions.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% to 40% of the time.
- Must have computer knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and other software programs as required
- Must be willing to work with various department directors, patients, visitors, family members, and community leaders.
- Must have the ability to plan, organize, execute and follow-up on work assignments.
- Must have a sound knowledge of personnel administration and must be able to supervise all employees.
- Must have a sound knowledge of local, Federal and State regulations, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, nursing and medical practices and procedures, and any other laws pertaining to senior living operation.
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions and work well under pressure.
- Must have knowledge of economic conditions and ability to adjust revenue and/or expense strategy to meet community and regional financial objectives.
- Must have the ability to keep abreast of changes in the Senior Living industry.
- Must process ability to interpret financial statements and prepare monthly reports.
- Must have the ability to promote public relations.
- Must have the ability to communicate with others well, attend meetings and provide updates / reports with ownership entities, lenders and joint venture partners.
