POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for facilitating comprehensive respiratory case management and delivering quality-based healthcare services by means of education, intake assessments including evaluating conditions and needs; setting short and long-term goals through advocacy, development and implementation of individualized care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associates or bachelor's degree in a Respiratory Therapy is required. Work experience in case management, utilization review or hospital quality assurance experience is preferred.
LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATIONS
Current Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential and Texas State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license is required. Case Manager Certification (CCM, CPHQ or ANCC) is highly desirable. Current CPR certification (BLS) is required.
