Job Details Description Position Summary: Provides physical therapy treatment to patients with physical dysfunctions. Educates patient, family, and staff on role of physical therapy. Communicates with physicians and ancillary staff regarding patient care. Experience: 1-3 years of physical therapy experience, preferably some in acute care. Education: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy. Required License / Credentials: Physical Therapist licensed by the state of New Jersey; CPR certified. Other Required Skills: Experience in hospital or acute care setting. Excellent interpersonal skills. Contact With Others: Regular internal and/or external contacts involving considerable tact, discretion, and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action or consent where it would be otherwise difficult to obtain. Supervision Given: Part time supervision over a small group of employees. Most of the time spent performing the same or similar work as members of the group. Supervision Received: Performs duties independently, following established procedures and reporting periodically to immediate supervisor.
