Position Overview: The Client is seeking a skilled professional to recover laboratory instrument data stored on 30 Jaz drive discs. These discs are believed to be undamaged but require expertise in Mac OS 9, SCSI interface, and Jaz drive recovery to ensure successful data extraction. This role is critical to retrieving valuable data that supports ongoing operations at the Crime Lab. Responsibilities: Resolve connectivity issues between a SCSI-connected Jaz drive and a Macintosh running Mac OS 9.1. Extract and securely transfer data from 30 Jaz drive discs. Provide a detailed report on recovery efforts, methods used, and final outcomes. Qualifications: Expertise in Mac OS 9.1 operating system. Proven experience with SCSI interface troubleshooting and configuration. Demonstrated ability to recover data from IOMEGA Jaz Drives. Relevant professional certifications (if applicable).
