Responsibilities Accurately receive, inspect, process, store and ship a variety of service parts Inspect freight for accuracy and damage and verify receiving tickets against part numbers to ensure accuracy and report damages, shortage, discrepancies and out of line conditions Prepare customer orders for shipment and transport orders to shipping docks or other areas as directed and follows all international packaging requirements and regulations Perform cycle count and report the count and out of line conditions to the warehouse lead Maintain neat, clean, orderly, safe and secure work and storage areas and charge forklift, stock chaser and batteries as needed Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment daily and general housekeeping in assigned areas as assigned Performs all functions necessary to track various aspects of goods using SAP program Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the warehouse lead Collect the correct orders from the warehouse and verify the contents against shipping papers and load the parts onto the delivery vehicle in a safe manner and unload them at the destination and retrieve any onsite parts returns and report them to the warehouse lead Find the most efficient route to deliver the parts to the destination by the agreed-upon date and time and keep a log of deliveries, fuel costs, and mileage Present delivery bill and receipts and get them signed for goods delivered Focus on safety while driving and delivering the parts and keep parts department up to date on delivery schedule and obey all traffic laws and established traffic procedures Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner Maintain cleanliness and operability of delivery trucks Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience with automotive or bus parts and overall automotive vehicle knowledge. Excellent administrative, customer service, organizational and communication skills including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills. Excellent customer service skills with ability to track task progress and conflict resolving. Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record. Ability to drive vehicles with a standard (manual) and automatic transmission. Safe and proper loading and unloading utilizing a forklift and proper physical lifting techniques and use of warehouse equipment Ability to occasionally lift or move 100 pounds from floor to waist with assistance. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals. Proficient computer skills and ability to use a smart phone or hand-held device.
