Summary: Shipping & Receiving Clerk verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments Track and logs data for shipments Schedule and track incoming material Coordinate with procurement and accounting on materials for production processes Distribute labels for stock and material that is being tracked Performs all functions necessary to track various aspects of goods using SAP program Supports the shipment of goods produced and received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production Tracks rejected material and records shortages Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Follows all international packaging requirements and regulations Responsible for warehouse administrative duties Synthesizes complex or diverse information Balances team and individual responsibilities Upholds organizational values Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Proper use of PPE and observes safety and security procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
