Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Storeroom Attendant to assist with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment in a temperature-controlled environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity requiring good attendance and customer service skills. Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Paid Lunch). Training: 1st shift for the first 3 days, then transition to 3rd shift. Location: Harrison, AK Key Responsibilities: Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory. Put orders up and manage inventory movement using manual pallet jacks. Ensure accuracy in sorting, labeling, and storing items on racks, shelves, or bins. Issue and document tools, products, and equipment to employees. Perform cycle counts and maintain up-to-date stock records in the system. Report damaged or worn tools/equipment and assist in necessary repairs. Prepare inventory reports and support inventory level maintenance. Operate basic computer systems to manage inventory and related documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Qualifications: 3 months of relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required). Basic computer skills and ability to use software for inventory management (e.g., MS Office). Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs (or more with assistance) and perform tasks requiring standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing. Dress Code & Requirements: Steel-toe shoes are required . Dress code: Jeans or pants with a t-shirt or polo (no sweatpants or shorts). Work Environment: Temperature-controlled storeroom. May require overtime or weekend work depending on operational needs.
