We're looking for a Senior GIS Systems Analyst with Oil & Gas or Transportation industry experience to join the team on a full-time, direct-hire basis The role is 100% onsite in downtown Houston. Full package includes yearly bonus, PTO, and benefits. Join our Data and Analytics team as a Lead GIS Systems Analyst to drive our transition into a data-driven organization. This role blends technical ArcGIS expertise with GIS management oversight to enhance enterprise data strategies, supporting data-driven decision-making in operations, asset management, and business intelligence. You'll collaborate with leadership to integrate geospatial solutions that unlock business value. Key Responsibilities: Build GIS web apps and maps using Esri’s ArcGIS suite. Automate workflows with geoprocessing scripts, tools, and models. Stay current on GIS technology and implement strategic tools. Manage ArcGIS licensing, deployment, and maintenance. Oversee vendor relationships and contracts with Esri. Lead system upgrades, patches, and maintenance. Present GIS benefits and ROI to stakeholders. Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless system integration. Establish data standards and enable cross-platform data sharing. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field. 7 years of ArcGIS development experience. 3 years managing enterprise GIS implementations. Proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise and Server administration. Strong analytical, ETL, and multi-project management skills. Experience managing GIS budgets and vendor contracts. Effective communicator with leadership and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, or .NET. SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge and geospatial analysis expertise. Advanced degrees, certifications, or project management experience. This position requires eligibility to work on W2 without sponsorship or visa transfer.
