Overview: Insight Global is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to support one of our largest Energy/Utility clients within their Data Analytics organization. This organization is in the early stages of prioritizing data quality and governance, and they are looking for a strong data quality analyst to help with these initiatives. Having built out their framework last year, they now need to establish a foundation using Monte Carlo for data monitoring and quality assurance. This will eventually be rolled out to end users. The data quality work is crucial for the governance team to effectively write rules and policies. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Analytics and Data Management. Collaborating with a team of data engineers, data governance analysts, and other data quality analysts. Setting up tables for data monitoring using Monte Carlo. Running and optimizing SQL scripts to ensure data quality and integrity. Developing and implementing data quality rules and standards using SQL. Conducting data profiling and validation to identify data quality issues. Creating and maintaining data quality dashboards and reports. Documenting data quality processes and procedures. Supporting the governance team by ensuring data quality standards are met. Must Haves: 3-7 years of professional data quality experience. Proficiency with the data quality tool Monte Carlo. Proficient in SQL. Experience with other data quality tools such as Talend, Trifacta, or Informatica. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
