This is a full-time, non-exempt position and requires schedule flexibility to support a variety of shifts. JOB TITLE: Production/Warehouse Supervisor DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTS TO: Plant Manager CLASSIFICATION: Exempt Production/Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities: Overseeing daily activities, leading a production team with varying levels of experience and education. Managing, evaluating, and reporting on productivity. Develop, coach, train, and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials. Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy. Effectively motivate and communicate with assigned team to assure superior levels of safety, reliability, cleanliness, and quality. Accomplishing manufacturing results by communicating job expectations and plans. Ensure improvement of bottom-line results through department-wide measurements that demonstrate continuous improvement in efficiency. Production/Warehouse Supervisor Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. 2 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position. Strong working knowledge of production and warehouse operations and management. Demonstrate leadership, good judgment, sound decision-making, and organizational skills. Time management skills and the ability to delegate. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Periods of standing/walking/sitting. Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. Occasional varying environmental temperature changes. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
