Vaco Boston has partnered with a leading Boston-based investment management firm that is seeking a Legal Assistant. Responsibilities: Create, update and maintain minute books for corporate entities; prepare board consents Manage entity lifecycles, including creation and termination of entities, file state and foreign annual reports, and maintain electronic and hard copy entity filings Respond to requests for corporate information; update and maintain organizational charts Assist with copyright and trademark matters Maintain various company databases, contacts and files Track, log and properly store various types of agreements, including confidentiality agreements, engagement letters and contracts Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1-3 years professional experience in an administrative support role. Financial industry or law practice experience preferred Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent and clear communication skills, both written and oral
