Job Description As WSM Ops Action Officer, interacts with directorate managerial or supervisory staff to plan, develop, or manage integrated logistics activities. Gather a variety of data to analyze relationships between technical aspects of the total Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategy. Reviewing and providing input to the acquisition or ILS plans, interpreting policy/regulatory guidance, and its impact on the Center's logistics responsibility. Provides advice and guidance to Centers directorates relative to findings and evaluations and recommends corrective actions where appropriate. Conducts studies to analyze existing depot procedures and recommend improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. Gathers and analyzes data for inclusion in quarterly Command review and analysis ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Center and Command objectives. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Applying logistic maintenance and procedures in support of an acquisition program; 2) Utilizing a wide range of methods to improve the program's effectiveness and processes; and 3) Evaluating logistical findings and recommend corrective actions regarding logistics.
