Our client is seeking a Product Manager: Data Index Platform Strategy in Fort Mill, SC. Role Description Holds responsibility for the end-to-end management of defined products and/or services within a technical area of expertise, ensuring alignment with company product strategy. Manages all aspects of definition and planning through production, release, and end of lifecycle, with end-to-end responsibility on feature/function specifications for new or legacy propositions, products and services. Responsibilities: Delivers against set objectives for a small product or cluster of small products Understands overall product roadmap and strategy and prioritize own work accordingly and as directed by senior colleagues to meet overall objectives Supports product marketing to ensure content is appropriately provided Seeks the expansion / improvement of existing products within own remit rather than the conceptualization of new products, establishing the business case for product enhancements. Ensures client engagement, communicate roadmaps to the client community and is responsible for feedback Provides guidance on strategy, design, business requirements, feature and functionality trade-offs and release schedule for a proposition, set of propositions, products, or services. Manages cross-functional teams in order to ensure dependencies for proposition, product or service delivery are met, following relevant lean, agile and ways of working methodologies. Works closely with client team to gather and prioritize client feedback to drive innovation and increase client adoption and retention Skills & Requirements 7 years of relevant work experience in product ownership / technology / business analysis / program management / application delivery in banking or financial domain. Experience in Indexing / portfolio management (desired) Extensive knowledge of market data, security reference data, primarily equities, bonds, mortgages, etc., security pricing, FX and interest rates, corporate actions, company/issuer reference data and industry classification and company fundamentals. Exposure to how data is used within indexes and/or how indexes and index data are used by financial institutions (Fund, Portfolio or Wealth Management) Experience in Data Analysis, Logical Data Modelling, Data Transformation including Business Transformation and Validation, and Data Management Experience driving large-scale technology programs and designing digital transformation strategies.
