Our market features an in-house butcher shop, bakery, coffee roaster, deli, and coffee/wine kiosk, offering local organic produce, pasture-raised meats, house-made deli salads, soups, baked pastas, sandwiches, wine, and spirits. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and community engagement, aligning with our mission to support local farmers and provide exceptional food experiences. Key Responsibilities: Menu Development: Design and implement seasonal menus that showcase local, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredients, reflecting our commitment to quality and community. Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment. Inventory Control: Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Qualifications: Preferred xperience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar setting. Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for local and sustainable ingredients. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
