Akkodis is hiring a Tier 2 IT Support Analyst to support our client in French Camp, CA Employment type: Temporary contract (4 months) Location: 100% Onsite – French Camp, CA Pay: $35/hr Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Analyst to provide Tier 2 (or 2.5) technical support to internal employees. This role is focused on delivering effective and efficient desktop, remote user, and incident support, as well as assisting with onboarding, offboarding, and A/V tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows 10, Active Directory, and Office 365, with a willingness to learn and adapt to our technical environment. Responsibilities: Provide desktop and remote user support for internal employees. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions for employees. Perform occasional A/V support and troubleshoot basic IT issues. Address incidents and service requests through the internally branded ticketing system. Conduct inventory tracking and ensure accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and projects. Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and monitoring the end-user environment. Investigate and recommend technology to improve and automate end-user device management and support. Support long-term strategies and capacity planning for future hardware needs. Test, evaluate, and recommend infrastructure and applications. Analyze basic business needs and optimize hardware and software resources to meet organizational objectives. Technical Environment: Windows 10 operating system. Active Directory and Office 365 expertise required. Networking knowledge is preferred. iPhone support using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools is a plus. Knowledge of ITSM principles and experience with ticketing systems. Qualifications: High school diploma with 4-5 years of experience, or equivalent coursework (12 units). Strong knowledge of personal computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and office automation. In-depth understanding of domain architecture, networks, network protocols, and connectivity/security principles. Proficiency in desktop management tools, system diagnostics, and software troubleshooting. Experience using and troubleshooting office applications. Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
