As the team’s first U.S.-based hire, you will define the regional market data strategy, foster partnerships with key providers, and integrate data solutions across various internal departments. Responsibilities: Design and implement strategies for managing U.S. market data operations, balancing day-to-day management with long-term planning. Drive market data initiatives that align with the firm’s objectives and trading goals. Research, acquire, and deploy external data sets that enhance trading strategies, ensuring measurable contributions to performance outcomes. Serve as a technical expert, advising on market data systems and their applications. Establish and nurture relationships with market data vendors, exchanges, and other external partners. Guide and support junior team members by providing training and mentorship on market data tools and concepts. Work closely with trading, compliance, and IT teams to ensure consistent integration of market data solutions across the organization. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, ensuring responsible use of market data. Develop frameworks to enhance data governance and ensure high-quality data management practices. Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of experience in market data roles. Expertise in both conventional and alternative data sources, including pricing, reference data, security master data, and derivatives.
