Start your Career with Volt Volt is hiring a Senior Analyst Accounting in Maricopa, Ca As a Senior Accountant Analyst you will: Responsibilities include upholding material control and accurate inventories, analyzing and improving inventory and process order variances and ensuring adherence to operating standards. Coordinating and leading month-end inventory and process order close procedures. Participating and guiding continuous improvement activities This is a full time opportunity The ideal candidate will have: Material Control: Responsible for all aspects of material control including developing and implementing processes and procedures to track material usage, material usage variances, unknown losses, and safeguard the assets of the company. Challenge data for accuracy and completeness. Responsible for ensuring plant compliance to inventory policies/procedures Responsible for audits of the warehouse, plant floor, storeroom, and company store. Manage obsolete inventory process through disposition. Month-End Inventory/Process Order Close: Responsible for the resolution of inventory issues for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Analyzes trend and reasonableness of actual product cost. Coordinate inventory close procedures. Analyze and process work order settlements Responsible for process order close procedures. Capital/Fixed Assets: Manage fixed assets from creation to disposal. Assist engineering manager with management of capital and capital related expenses (CRE). Guide and directs engineering department with capital, CRE, and fixed asset topics. Lead the fixed asset inventory audits. Creation of Reports and Analysis: Responsible for completion of reporting and analysis of inventory to management team weekly/monthly. Analyze and resolve Purchase Price Variance Issues. Complete weekly KPI sheet for accounting areas. Analyze budget vs actual cost center performance. Prepare and distribute reports as requested by the Controller or management team. Other Department Responsibilities: Participate in annual budgeting process, including completing the raw material and packaging budget. Conduct weekly factory floor visits to complete behavior-based observations and performance-based coaching's. Conduct various Internal Control Audits. Temporary assignment Pay rate: $30/hr. Schedule: Monday -Friday 7:00am-3:00pm.
