Our challenge We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to enhance our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing using Selenium , Core Java , and TestNG , as well as proficiency in writing complex SQL queries . You will also have significant exposure to REST API automation and experience working in an Agile methodology. The Role Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium , Core Java , and TestNG to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing process. Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring thorough validation of new features and functionalities. Utilize strong SQL skills to write queries for data validation and verification during testing processes. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams within an Agile framework to ensure the successful delivery of quality software. Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools for REST API testing to ensure robust integration and performance. Identify, document, and track defects through test execution, ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with development teams. Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring to junior testers and team members on automation best practices. Continuously assess and improve testing methodologies and processes to enhance overall product quality. Requirements: You are: Proficient in Selenium WebDriver , Core Java , and TestNG for creating automated test cases. Strong knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries for database testing. Hands-on experience with REST API automation tools and techniques. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain clear documentation of testing processes, test cases, and outcomes to ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to compliance requirements. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices relevant to investment banking, and apply this knowledge to improve testing strategies.
