LHH is searching for a Senior Data Engineer to join our client’s innovative team in Bentonville, AR, or Sunnyvale, CA. This role offers a competitive compensation range of $120,000–$135,000 in Bentonville and $160,000–$180,000 in Sunnyvale, with an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge data solutions in a global organization. About the Role: You will be part of a team that revolutionizes data-driven decision-making. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise to design, develop, and deploy next-generation data solutions. Your technical leadership will empower business strategies and enable faster, better decision-making for merchants and suppliers alike. Architect and develop software solutions to streamline data pipelines and modeling. Lead technical discussions and whiteboarding sessions to evaluate and implement optimal solutions. Translate complex business requirements into technical action plans. Optimize operational efficiency by identifying and resolving barriers to performance. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical documentation and support. Collaborate on multiple business projects to deliver impactful data products. Requirements: 4 years of technical experience . Strong expertise in Spark, Scala, SQL, Hadoop , and data warehousing . Proficiency in Python/PySpark , Java , and backend development ( J2EE , Spring ). Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and integration tools like Airflow and Automic . Knowledge of data modeling , migration protocols , and BI tools (e.g., Looker). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka), and algorithms . Bonus: Experience with Ad Tech systems and data pipelines.
