Position Details Locations: Bentonville, AR Sunnyvale, CA Compensation: Bentonville: $140,000–$150,000 Sunnyvale: $215,000–$220,000 Experience Required: 1 years in leadership roles. 2 years as a technical lead. 4 years of experience building and managing large-scale distributed systems. 6 years of hands-on experience with Java or other object-oriented languages, Spring, NoSQL, and Kafka. Key Responsibilities Lead Technical Teams: Oversee backend engineers, data engineers, quality assurance, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. Deliver Projects: Manage large-scale, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery. Technical Leadership: Design, build, and maintain distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems in multi-cloud environments. Problem-Solving: Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to address critical production issues. Team Development: Mentor team members, provide coaching for performance improvement, and create a collaborative, inclusive work environment. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product managers and business stakeholders to define priorities and develop high-impact technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have Hands-on experience with: Programming Languages: Java, Spring Boot, Python, or another object-oriented language. Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot. Databases: NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Messaging Systems: Kafka. Cloud Platforms: Multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). DevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins. Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, ELK Stack. APIs: RESTful services, GraphQL. Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive successful project outcomes. Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Experience deploying and managing production environments in multi-cloud settings. Exposure to data science and machine learning tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
