Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II in Maplewood, MN, with a well-known industry leader. This is a first shift position. As a Lab Tech II you will: Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and experiments on industrial products, following established protocols and procedures Operate, maintain, and calibrate multiple pieces of equipment used in the preparation and testing of abrasive samples Prepare and characterize samples and resins using prescribed formulations and test methods while adhering to strict safety guidelines Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data accurately and efficiently Document and report test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing Maintain clean equipment and lab space for safe operation Estimated Duration up to 24 months. The ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years working in a laboratory setting in a private, public, government, or military environment. Strong technical and/or mechanical background Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Comfort working with equipment user interfaces and Microsoft Excel Associate, Technical degree, or higher in a relevant science or engineering field (ex.
