Ready for your next client-facing Business Analyst role in the investment management space? This Chicago-based consultancy firm provides services to a wide range of investment firms, helping them optimize processes, technology, and data across all functions of their businesses to accelerate decision-making and drive growth. For clarity, this is a 12-month Business Analyst contract role with a strong possibility for extension based on the skills you bring to the table and the end client's ongoing needs. Whether you're active on the market or passively searching for your next role, this is a great opportunity to work closely with a reputable investment firm in the wealth management/RIA space on a high-priority change and transformation project. The main focus for this role is on pre- and post-operational workflows, so having deep knowledge of operating models and controls, covering K-1 delivery, capital calls, and transaction processing will be part of your day-to-day. You should have the core BA fundamentals down upon joining, as you'll need to be able to analyze and document current-state processes, design future-state operating models, and, of course, be an effective cross-functional communicator. In terms of your prior financial experience, having practical application and knowledge of operational lifecycles for private and alternative investment platforms such as iCapital or CAIS is a MUST. The reason being, the end client needs someone who's already familiar with their systems and can make an immediate impact from day one. This role is hybrid, twice per week in their Chicago office, and pays up to $75 per hour. If this strikes your interest, you should apply now before the role is filled. They're aiming to have a consultant onboarded by the end of January 2025 No up-to-date resume is required to apply.
