Job Role: Senior J2EE Engineer (Only On W2) Location: Downey, CA - Remote Duration: 12 Months Contract Is this role located on-site, hybrid, or remote?: Remote Position Description: A Senior Enterprise Architect applies their management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to support complex projects in applying organizing principles and methods of enterprise architecture. Methods of enterprise architecture include IT business systems development and technical solutions that align with the business process. This is accomplished through requirements analysis, needs assessments, and selection and implementation of integration strategies including lifecycle sustainability. The Senior Enterprise Architect will provide subject matter expertise in industry, and have specific knowledge of methods including architect enterprise strategy, enterprise architecture development and management; business process design and re-engineering; investment decision making and support for solution architecture development/management; and support the attainment of business strategy and its alignment with processes and information technology strategy. Skills Required: The Senior Enterprise Architect will possess knowledge and technical expertise in standards and technologies to support complex business analysis, solution selection, systems design, and application integration. Skills Preferred: Strong understanding of J2EE technologies like Servlets, JSP, EJBs, JMS, and Web Services. Proficient in Google Apigee for designing, securing, and managing APIs. Skilled in handling and developing SOAP/REST requests and responses using WSDL, JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, and implementing web services authentication mechanisms. Proficient in using and configuring Azure DevOps Services for CI/CD pipelines incorporating automated tools using YAML and the portal. Proficient in Bitbucket and GitHub for source code management and collaboration. Proficient in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Groovy, Ruby; experienced with UiPath for robotic process automation (RPA). Skilled in Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Nagios, and Adobe Analytics for comprehensive monitoring, logging, and performance analysis. Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Chef, Puppet, Helm, and UiPath Orchestrator for automation and orchestration. Experience Required: This classification must have a minimum of seven (7) years of applying Enterprise Architecture principles. At least five (5) years of that experience must be in a lead capacity. Experience Preferred: Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience with core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, multithreading, and collections. Minimum 5 years of experience in using Gradle, ANT, and Maven for automating and managing build processes. Minimum 5 years of experience in deploying applications on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud platforms, including OpenShift and Azure Cloud. Minimum 10 years of experience across all phases of the SDLC, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Education Required: This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
