Job Description: As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll join our engineering group within the Global Business Solutions division. Seeking a passionate problem-solver who can balance platform stability with modern engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: Hands-on software engineer for online transaction processing (OLTP) applications based on C and TAL on the HP NonStop platform. Deliver high-quality code to integration testing, certification, and production environments. Automate testing and deployments using CI/CD processes, taking on a QE role when necessary. Design, build, and support aligned applications or platforms. Own technical stories, participate in code reviews, and support production. Design efficient, effective, and reusable technical solutions. Collaborate effectively with DevOps, Production Support, and peer platform teams. Basic Qualifications: 10 years of experience in software engineering roles. 7 years of experience with HP NonStop. 5 years of experience with C and TAL. 5 years of experience with Enscribe, Pathway, DDL, and SQL Server MP (NonStop). 3 years of experience in payments processing. 3 years of experience in engineering OLTP applications. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with peers and senior leaders. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience. Expertise in SQL MX and OSS.
