Job Description: An Insight Global client is looking to add a Software Release Manager to their growing team. This resource will be responsible for managing the new implementation portfolios both in the states as well as globally. The Software Release Manager should be able to multi-task managing 3-5 implementations at a time and drive release management across all company platforms/jurisdictions. Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, integrate release management in complicated environments, and produce testing and release notes for documentation will be key to be successful in this role. Responsibilities Participate in requirements gathering sessions to help document and plan the effort. Create associated Jira tickets associated with each release Participate/lead weekly software and development and release planning sessions. Develop and communicate project-related tasks such as release plans and timelines and coordinate release schedules across multiple teams. Identify and manage risks that may interfere with successful release. Create testing and release notes as needed for each release. Deploy software to the appropriate environments. Lead the go-live activities to deploy the software. Create/maintain release documentation related to builds. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar degree. Experience in Customer Interaction, Requirements Analysis and Project Management. Experience using Jira and Git/GitHub for version control and release. Strong interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where multiple projects must be managed simultaneously. General experience with Windows Server Platform and MS SQL Server. Gaming/Lottery business experience a plus Plusses : Experience with OutSystems, Java, WildFly Application Server, Angular/JS Development Framework. Knowledge regarding Agile Development processes and methodologies, overall software operations Lottery game/industry experience Compensation: $53-58/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
