Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer Location: Charlotte, NC , Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX hybrid Duration:3 months contract Work with internal teams (developers, business etc.) to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the system documentation requirements • Work with SMEs to understand process flows and be able to convert them into formal procedural documents • Write easy-to-understand user online help and user guides and suggest innovative approaches for documenting • Ability to analyze, parse complex Informatica ETL code, shell scripting, SQL procedures and prepare technical documentation with data lineage, transformations used in the code and coordinate layout and organization. • Produce Product requirement documentation (PRD) along with pseudo code to rewrite the Cobol program into Spark SQL / SQL • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for intended audience • Explain concepts and processes simply and concisely to help internal and external users understand the technology • Work across various teams to generate effective materials for required audience Skill Set: • Experience working in Agile delivery methodology using Kanban, Scrum approaches • Experience working with Jira and Confluence • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation • Ability to deliver high quality data lineage documentation with attention to detail • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures • Excellent communicative skills in English • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite Products, Jira and Confluence • Considerable technical, logical, analytical and problem-solving skills Experience / Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of Business Systems Analysis / Spec writing experience • Minimum of 5 years of Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Exchange, BDE, Unix Shell scripting, SQL experience • Flexibility and the ability to learn very quickly • Ability to strictly adhere to documentation process guidelines • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong knowledge of database architecture principles (tables, views, SQL, etc.) • Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Visio)
