The Role: As a Staff Software Engineer on the Founding Team, you will be instrumental in building and scaling the company’s core platform from the ground up. This role offers a chance to influence the architecture, drive technical innovation, and contribute directly to a transformative health tech solution. Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement a platform that securely manages and analyzes healthcare data using Python, Go, and SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate healthcare-specific requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Build and optimize robust data pipelines and integrations for processing large-scale healthcare data. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring compliance with healthcare data security and privacy standards. Research and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities, including AI and blockchain-inspired innovations. Establish coding standards, development processes, and quality assurance practices for the engineering team. Mentor junior engineers and cultivate a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Take ownership of project timelines, ensuring the successful delivery of key milestones and objectives. Solve technical challenges and address bottlenecks to maintain a reliable and scalable platform. Requirements: Deep expertise in Python and Go, with demonstrated experience building systems or platforms from scratch. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience designing scalable data pipelines or backend systems. Previous experience in startup or fast-paced environments, ideally as a founding engineer or core team member. Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes. Familiarity with AI technologies and frameworks; experience in health tech or healthcare data management is a strong plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
