Simi Valley, CA (Onsite) Long term contract- temp to hire opportunity Job Summary: The IT Analyst will support infrastructure and application solutions projects while providing endpoint support to IT users at an Aerospace manufacturing facility in Simi Valley. This role ensures seamless operations on the production floor by maintaining hardware and software, configuring application solutions to enhance efficiency, and building an inventory of production assets. Responsibilities: Infrastructure Support: Install, maintain, and support critical hardware and software for daily business and production operations. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using basic diagnostic techniques. Build and install workstations, IT equipment, and software applications. Backup and image production workstations to ensure data security and availability. Application Solutions: Configure and implement applications that enhance process efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to document IT solutions and production system interfaces. Develop an IT services catalog to improve visibility and understanding of IT offerings. Asset Management: Build and maintain an inventory of production data, software, and hardware. Create documentation for IT processes, applications, and solutions to establish a knowledge base. General IT Support: Support daily IT operations and assist the IT team in various activities. Install or upgrade software solutions on production workstations. Analyze and resolve root causes of system issues and implement remedial actions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years in an IT support or service role with regular customer interaction. Maintenance and support of computer hardware or equivalent. Configuring and implementing business applications, reporting, and analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Power BI preferred). Software development and scripting (SQL, Shell scripting preferred). Manufacturing environments (preferred). Certifications (Nice to have): Microsoft Certified Professional. CompTIA certifications (e.g., A, Network, Security).
