LaSalle Network is in search of a Transportation Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of the Transportation Department. This role is critical in monitoring and executing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing key business insights, proactively managing exceptions, mitigating risks, and driving financial performance. The Transportation Analyst partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best-in-class On-Time Performance for stock transfers and customer orders, balancing cost and service. The role optimizes information flow and structural processes between Sales, Distribution Facilities, Quality, Customer Service teams, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and customers. Transportation Analyst Responsibilities: Monitor and support the daily execution of transportation objectives and KPIs to ensure consistent performance Participate in daily Distribution Center execution calls, providing transportation-related support and follow-ups Collaborate with Plant Warehousing teams on daily execution and transportation-related tasks Work closely with the 3PL shuttle provider to ensure seamless daily execution and manage exceptions effectively Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance across all functions Act as a subject matter expert for Stock Transfer and Customer Outbound shipments Identify areas of improvement in processes with internal/external stakeholders, develop solution strategies, present findings, and implement action plans Develop and oversee modern supply chain strategies that align with the company's strategic objectives and customer expectations Ensure best-in-class logistics and transportation services are executed efficiently Execute special projects and ad hoc requests as required Transportation Analyst Requirements: Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Initiative to improve processes with a "bias for action" Ability to translate data analysis into actionable insights Strong persuasion and communication skills to gain buy-in from stakeholders Confident and articulate when presenting to senior leadership and external customers Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks in ambiguous situations Proficiency with PowerQuery for Excel Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI Results-driven with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes Proven ability to build strong and effective relationships Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, STEM, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in key supply chain areas, including transportation, procurement, or supply chain management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint Experience with E2open (formerly BluJay) and SAP (ECC) is preferred This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the seamless operation of transportation services.
