Job title: HR Business Process Analyst Location: Troy, MI Duration: 12 Months As the Business Process Analyst you will support the alignment and standardization of HR processes, procedure and tools across two companies as part of a cross-functional HR Integration Programme. As part of the HR Team supporting a software development business and all functions, you will collaborate with stakeholders, lead alignment discussions, document processes and requirements and drive standardization and efficiency. Your Role Partner with business leaders and teams to elicit and document as is processes, data flows, systems and users, and agree the to be standardized process to agree guidelines. Employ various techniques to define, elicit, analyze, record, and validate requirements throughout the programme lifecycle Investigate and learn business issues, data and compliance challenges for business processes. Develop business process models, business requirements / user stories as required to support the IT systems changes needed. Develop collaborative working relationships with the business community to ensure comprehensive user acceptance testing occurs, training plans are developed & executed, and effective migration to new processes and ways of working. Support the IT Programme Manager as the business advocate (Voice of customer) in all stages of programme delivery. Use knowledge of business and technology to recommend systems and process opportunities to improve, expand, or retire existing capabilities & technology to increase the value to Aptiv Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, defining and measuring key performance indicators and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. Plan and facilitate workshops and alignment meetings to achieve the alignment outcomes Ensure compliance with Aptiv’s governance and regulatory obligations, leveraging documented audit trails, signoffs and records. Maintain appropriate governance of all activities in conjunction with programme leadership, using appropriate escalation to maintain progress. Your Background Degree and/or postgraduate degree in HR, Business or equivalent 5 years of experience in business process analysis in a multinational corporate Working knowledge of Incident/Problem/Change Management frameworks such as ITIL v3, or ISO 9000:2000. Familiarity with process mapping and modelling techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data. Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. Excellent written and oral English Excellent attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience and/or working knowledge of HR systems and applications e.g. Workday and Learning Management Systems Previous experience in a global organization. Knowledge of system integrations, ensuring proper data flow of HRIS information to other systems.
