Business Analyst - Foreign Exchange 6 - 18 months contract with Benefits and PTO Location: 3 days hybrid onsite in Chicago Project Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our Product Development group for foreign exchange (FX) trading. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building out a target operating model for front-office trading platforms, including Execution Management Systems (EMS), Order Management Systems (OMN) and Portfolio Management Systems (PMS). This role requires a deep understanding of front office trading systems, FX markets and technical acumen to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Qualifications: > Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in the capital markets sector, with a focus on front office trading systems and FX trading. > Strong knowledge of EMS, OMS and PMS platforms and their role in trading operations > Demonstrated experience in developing target operating models and implementing process improvements > Technically savvy with the ability to understand system architectures, data flows and integration points > SQL Skills and the ability to build queries Day to day: 4 different agile teams working on upgrading systems, etc. You will be sitting on the FX trading floor with traders and understanding why and what we are doing. You will need to understand the business reasoning for requested changes and then write stories so developers can pick this up. Need to create backlogs for developers. Need to bridge the gap between traders and developers.
