Business Analyst (Legal Technology) - Glasgow Please note, you will only be considered for this role if you can demonstrate evidence of the job description below on your CV Please note, there is no sponsorship available for this role Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional Business Analyst with a robust background in either law, legal or professional services to drive strategic process improvements and technological solutions. This role would suit either a seasoned Business Analyst or a paralegal / operations person from a law / legal background looking to move into business analysis. Key Responsibilities Analyse and document complex business requirements and processes Convert requirements into detailed user stories and requirements that are deliverable by technical teams Collaborate with internal and external teams (business and technical) to design and implement case management system workflows and enhancements Challenge and critically evaluate stakeholder assumptions and thinking to ensure optimal outcomes Bridge communication between technical and business teams, translating complex requirements Lead and facilitate workshops with staff at all levels to ensure a common understanding of business needs exists Required Qualifications Legal or professional services background Proven experience with case management systems Experience working in both agile and traditional project environments Strong process flow and user story documentation skills Exceptional communication capabilities Strong technical knowledge to be able to hold conversations with and challenge technical teams Personal Attributes High self-confidence Ability to constructively challenge team perspectives Comfortable navigating both technical and business environments Proactive problem-solving approach Process mapping tools Case management software Requirements gathering techniques Logistics Salary £50k Hybrid working - in office as needed, but likely to be around 2 days per week
