Principal Business Analyst Inside IR35 Location - Manchester/Blackpool – Hybrid 2 Days a week BA Clearance - BPSS Start date: ASAP End date: 3 Months minimum – will extend As a Principal BA working within client these are some of the things you will be doing: You will be a leading figure within the community and externally, providing guidance and setting standards for BA related services across multiple services and programmes. The Programme exists of multi-functional teams delivering Projects in varying stages of development phases. These are complex and providing client with transformational objectives to support the management and recovery of monies owed to Government, this includes benefit overpayments, compensation recovery and loan recovery. The current DM systems are aging and will become unsupported shortly, whilst debts are held and managed on multiple systems. It hinders the ability of the Department to meet the expectations of citizens now used to managing their finances via online channels. The team working on the legacy system which requires a Business Analyst to support the below key initiatives: Discovery on Data Cleansing Conduct in-depth discovery to map out the current AS-IS processes related to data cleansing. Identify manual tasks performed by agents and explore opportunities to streamline and automate these processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to find improvements and lay the groundwork for future implementation. Pre-Discovery Engage in pre-discovery activities to gather initial requirements and understand the scope of the programme Work closely with teams to define high-level needs, dependencies, and potential challenges ahead of full discovery.
