Role Overview: We are in search of an Chef de Cuisine with a strong background in Mediterranean, Spanish & Pan Asian cuisine, someone that can cook with finesse to the highest standards catering for guests, VIPs, billionaires, and celebrities in this beautiful resort 5-star luxury resort on the picturesque and tropical coast of Costa Rica. The Chef de Cuisine MUST have 5-start hotel experience AND be fluent in Spanish. This a role that requires multi- site experience, supporting 5 restaurant and the Culinary Director; therefore operational skills are very important. Key Responsibilities: Create and design outstanding dishes of the highest quality. Manage and inspire the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective operations. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, with opportunities to introduce new ones. Costing, Health & Safety, SOPs and operational input across 5 sites. Required Qualifications & Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef. Fluent in Spanish and English. Experience in Mediterranean - Spanish, and Asian & Japanese cuisine Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring junior chefs.
