6 month contract Join an exciting and growing eCommerce development team We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical innovation, craft exceptional user experiences, and drive greenfield ES6 projects. The ideal candidate is a front-end expert with experience in large-scale projects and a willingness to contribute to back-end development when needed. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical direction of greenfield ES6 projects. Develop seamless, engaging user experiences for customers. Create and enhance user flows for subscription management. Build a unified account management system for staff oversight. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical projects. Partner with Shopify to expand and optimise the web platform. Contribute to long-term strategic development initiatives. Skills & Qualifications 5 years in front-end development (2 years commercial experience). Proficiency in ES6 (React preferred). Experience with Shopify and building greenfield ES6 projects. Strong stakeholder communication skills. Desirable : Knowledge of MongoDB or similar databases. Experience building Express or Node.js applications. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.). Willingness to visit the Farnham office periodically. Personal Attributes Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
