Gastroenterologist Locums Job in Southern Illinois Seeking 1 Week (M-F) of Scope/Endo-Suite Support Starting in Late April/Early May 2025 Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in Illinois that needs additional support in their endo-suite starting in the spring of 2025. Due to a backlog of procedures/increasing community need for pro-active/elective scopes, the facility is hoping to find one GI that is open to chipping away at the residual backlog of patients by coverage 1 week (M-F only) per month starting in late April or early May. The facility is open to considering the specific M-F stretch that you can offer each month & that works best for you. Coverage need: Seeking Monday - Friday outpatient scope coverage from 7:30AM-3PM Night call coverage is not required/weekend call coverage is not required Description/Requirements for Assignment 107099: Board Certification or true Eligibility required Active Illinois license + CSR strongly preferred Will do outpatient scopes M-F from 7:30am-4:30pm doing outpatient scopes (endo-suite is located on campus at the main hospital) Night/weekend call coverage is NOT required; There may be the opportunity for you to help with call at times, however, if you prefer Will do an average of 12-14 scopes per weekday ERCP/EUS are preferred but are not a firm requirement Will need to be credentialed at three different facilities (within same health system) Information on facilities: 150+ bed facility, Epic EMR, level 2 trauma designation Must be able to provide a minimum of 100 dated case logs representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested from the last year.
