Job Title: Business Analyst – PKI & Cryptography (Cyber Security) Location: London, Hybrid Industry: Banking / Financial Services Salary: [Competitive/Negotiable] About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Cryptography to support our banking client in strengthening their Cyber Security initiatives. As a key member of the cyber security team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define and implement PKI solutions, cryptographic protocols, and security frameworks. You will play a critical role in driving secure, scalable solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with technical teams, business units, and security stakeholders to define business requirements for PKI and cryptographic solutions. Conduct gap analysis and assess the current PKI and cryptography framework, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation. Define and document functional and non-functional requirements for PKI solutions, including certificate management, encryption protocols, and key lifecycle management. Ensure alignment of security policies and procedures with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS). Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and provide guidance on best practices. Work with vendors and technical teams to assess and implement PKI technologies and solutions (e.g., certificate authorities, hardware security modules). Support the implementation of cryptographic policies for data protection, digital signatures, and encryption across various platforms and applications. Assist with risk management activities, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks related to PKI and cryptography. Document and maintain clear technical specifications, user guides, and training materials. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of PKI and cryptography initiatives. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the cyber security domain, specifically within PKI and cryptography. Solid understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), digital certificates, encryption methods, and cryptographic protocols (e.g., TLS, SSL, AES, RSA). Experience working in highly regulated industries, preferably banking or financial services, with an understanding of relevant security standards and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex security challenges. Familiarity with key management solutions, certificate authorities, and cryptographic hardware. Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
