Core Responsibilities
Strategic Commodity Management with experience and good understanding of Electronics/Components industry. Manage RFQs and supplier recommendations/ selection/ benchmarking processes to influence and manage key suppliers. Support spend analytics, supplier allocation and categorization for high mix/complexity with impending growth in the organization.
Procurement processes include:
Component Sourcing
Supplier Selection RFP/RFQ
Supplier/Cost benchmarking
Pricing/Terms Negotiation
BOM Cost Analytics supporting savings targets
Contract Administration/Negotiations
Supplier Relationship Management
Strategic Sourcing (Allocation, supports Component/Supplier Categorisation, managing suppliers relationships for leverage)
Continuity of Supply support as key interface
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting and driving local category strategy, with strategic approach and ability to scale
End to end procurement processes include: Early engagement on business request analysis; Pricing/ Terms Negotiation; Supplier Selection/Benchmarking; Order Processing; Contracting; Supplier Relationship Management
SRM for existing suppliers
Strategic Initiatives:
Commodity Management:
Strategic Sourcing (Allocation, supports Component/ Supplier Categorization, leading suppliers relationships)
Supplier Selection RFP/RFQ
Supplier/ Cost benchmarking, Pricing/ Terms Negotiation
Spend/BOM Cost Management to achieve/set savings targets
Contract Administration/ Negotiations
Supplier Relationship Management as Key interface (Distributors, Component Stockists)
Continuity of Supply support as key interface and support Implementation of Electronics Commodity Strategy

Do you have what it takes?
Min 5 years’ total relevant working experience in Procurement/Commodity management in Electronics/EMS Industry
Strategic Procurement Experience working in the Electronics Industry (PCBA & Box Build), Electronics/Electrical Components and related Commodities knowledge
Operations Procurement Activities (Spend management, Negotiations, Supply management, Cost Management)
EMS Supplier Management & Negotiations
Experience in SMT/Box Build Manufacturing Environment
Analytical and Critical thinking skills
Communications and influencing skills
Self Motivated & curious!
Handling ambiguity in a constantly evolving operations environment
ERP knowledge such as SAP and Oracle
Proficiency in Mandarin will be advantageous due to the need to collaborate closely with China counterparts
