Your New Role:
The Capability Center BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM) Manager ensuresthe on-going operations execute properly, perform regular maintenance activities, and monitor all jobs and batch processes. This is a technologyfocused role with additional project management responsibilities. You play a crucial role in building/maintaining CM solutions and managing the operations and projects related to SAP BRIM’s Convergent Mediation module. This module focuses on gathering, transforming, and processing data from multiple sources to be used in provisioning, billing,invoicingand settlement/payment lotprocesses. Your responsibilities encompass both operations management and project management functions.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Ensure the Convergent Mediation system operates smoothly, handling the inflow and outflow of data from various sources. This includes monitoring daily batch jobs, real-time data processing, error handling and managing system alerts.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the mediation system, such as data inaccuracies, errors in data transformation, or integration failures between upstream and downstream systems.
Design, develop, document, test, deploy Convergent Mediation objects per business requirements.
Oversee the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data flowing through the system. This includes implementing validation rules, managing error logs, and ensuring data reconciliations.
Act as the point of contact for operational stakeholders, providing them with updates on system performance, incidents, and ongoing operational tasks
Lead projects related to the implementation, upgrade, or enhancement of the Convergent Mediation system. This involves creating detailed project plans, defining timelines, allocating resources, and overseeing the execution of project tasks.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, set expectations, and ensure that project outcomes align with business objectives. Engage with cross-functional teams like billing, finance, and IT teams.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement enhancements in the Convergent Mediation system, such as new data sources, mapping, pricing models, or regulatory changes.
Ensure that users are adequately trained on new functionalities or processes. Create and maintain documentation related to operations and projects, such as user manuals, technical specifications, and project reports.
CROSS FUNCTIONAL & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Identify opportunities to automate recurring processes, such as data validation, error reporting, or system health checks, to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Not Required but preferred experience:
Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.)
Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to prepare all documents, presentations, graphs, briefings, and worksheets
