As a Senior Retail Operations Manager at LEGO Retail AMS, you will be at the forefront of ensuring efficient operations and driving outstanding store support that enhances customer and employee experiences and operations. Core Responsibilities
• Retail Operations Management: Lead all aspects of the day-to-day operations of 120+ LEGO retail stores in the US and Canada, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies and procedures, and leading internal communications.
• Performance Analysis and Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales, optimize efficiency, and improve overall store performance, focusing on sales, cost control, net promoter score, and labor management.
• Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to the retail operations team while fostering a fun, diverse, and inclusive work environment. Improve retail operations by working directly with the Director of Operations and West and East Region Senior Directors. Support the opening of new stores and remodels and provide store support through communications, pay processing, and requests from stores.
• Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Marketing, Safety, Loss Prevention, Allocation, and Supply Chain, to align retail strategies with broader business objectives. Cultivate strong partnerships with key collaborators to drive alignment and improve opportunities for growth and innovation. Additionally, work directly with PPC (HR) and the EMEA Operations team to drive global consistency in new policies and procedures.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all retail operations. Through proactive risk management strategies, identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, such as reviewing policies, drafting new policies, and examining legal liabilities. These responsibilities encompass a broad approach to leading retail operations, combining critical thinking, leadership skills, and operational expertise to drive success in the dynamic retail environment of LEGO Group stores.

Relocation
There is no budget for domestic or international relocation for this role.
Additional details on this position
- The salary for this position has a range of $124,700 - $187,000 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
- This position will initially be based at 10 St. James Ave. in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
