Ready to take the lead in managing financial risk on a global scale? We're looking for a Senior Treasury Manager to join our Risk and Capital team within Group Treasury a strategic role where your expertise will support the way we manage foreign exchange, commodity, and funding risks across the business!
Core Responsibilities
- As a key member of the Risk and Capital team within Group Treasury, you will be part of managing and mitigating risks across various areas, including foreign exchange (FX), commodity, funding, and counterparty risk.
- Your primary responsibility will be financial risk management, focusing on the analysis and hedging of the group's foreign exchange exposure
- Engage in group liquidity management, funding structure recommendations, and macroeconomic analysis
- Serve as an advisor on ad hoc topics, e.g. large capital expenditure (capex) projects and new market entries
- Actively partner with the business and finance community to drive financial risk diligence and facilitate informed decision-making on Treasury-related topics.
- Help drive new initiatives within our team, including data-driven decision-making, Treasury digitalization, process optimization, and ESG initiatives

In collaboration with teams across the CFO Organization, Group Treasury safeguards the financial value of The LEGO Group, optimizes the use of capital and cash, and partners with the business to drive sound financial decision-making.
Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate has minimum 5 years of experience in an international Treasury, banking, or corporate finance function, preferably including experience in corporate finance management (capital structure, WACC, funding, etc.) and financial risk management (foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity risk)
Moreover, the candidate:
- holds a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a similar field
- Is self-motivated with effective communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts in simple storylines while focusing on key messages.
- demonstrates integrity and high ethical standards, with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to achieving goals.
- Is an open and engaged teammate who prioritizes team collaboration and collective success
- Possesses a natural ability to build and nurture positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
This position entails global responsibilities, with occasional travel required.
It would be beneficial to have:
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, Bloomberg
- Experience with coding (e.g. Python, SQL or R)
- Ability to read and understand legal financial contracts, such as loan agreements and guarantee wordings.
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
