Documentation: Instrument and validate product/event telemetry and document definitions in a data dictionary. Strategic Insights: Lead descriptive and diagnostic analyses; translate findings into clear recommendations and present them to senior leadership. Data Monitoring: Monitor dashboard usage and performance; iterate for clarity, speed, and adoption. Data Experimentation: Collaborate on experiment design, guardrail metrics, and post-experiment reads. Autonomy: Manage your own prioritized project list, with a clear understanding of overarching business goals. Data Security: Uphold privacy, security, and governance standards in everything we build. 5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a similar field. Proficiency in Advanced SQL with hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines. Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large data sets. Experience with data visualization using Tableau or similar tools. Practical experience modeling data for BI and working with modern cloud warehouses, such as Snowflake. Strong data storytelling and partner communication skills. A solid understanding of, and appreciation for, Dungeons & Dragons. Experience in consumer subscriptions, gaming, or content platforms and familiarity with player lifecycle analytics. Knowledgeable about predictive modeling, Machine Learning, and A/B Testing methods. Understanding of experimental design frameworks (e.g. design of experiments).
