Join Our Caring Community and Prioritize Health Humana Healthy Horizons is looking for a Senior Provider Education Specialist to support our Medicaid Provider Education Leads in active markets. In this vital role, you will help create, update, and conduct annual reviews of training materials aimed at enhancing the provider experience within Humana's Medicaid segment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing state contract language, updating content, and facilitating the review process for provider training materials, manuals, orientations, resource guides, and compliance training. In close collaboration with various business segments and Leads, you will gather insights, tailor educational resources to meet state-specific requirements, and ensure all materials align with internal standards and regulations. You will also assist in the approval process by organizing materials for review by branding, legal, compliance, and design teams. Your responsibilities will also include efficiently managing and tracking provider documents. Key Responsibilities: Assist in drafting a variety of provider content initiatives using new learning technology for Medicaid provider training. Develop and maintain on-demand provider materials to facilitate self-service learning for annual required trainings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure annual educational resources meet state compliance requirements, including maintaining templates and ensuring quality assurance. Participate in regular meetings with project teams to address provider training and education needs, ensuring alignment with segment strategies. Support the implementation education team by creating new materials and reviewing existing documents, including tracking progress through internal review processes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3 years of experience in provider content creation for educational materials or training Strong understanding of learning design principles and experience applying them to develop engaging provider training materials Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) with experience in template design 2 years of project management experience on mid-sized projects 1 year of experience with a learning management system or relevant software Exceptional time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience working in a matrixed environment with effective coordination across departments Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities Adaptable and dynamic personality who thrives in a team setting Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Medicaid policies and health plan operations, including provider relations and claims processes Experience in healthcare or managed care Additional Information: Travel: Up to 5% travel may be required for meetings or training. Workstyle: Remote position, with the requirement to work hours within the eastern time zone. Core Workdays & Hours: Typically 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: The estimated starting salary for full-time employment is $78,400 - $107,800 per year, based on skills, experience, and geographic location.
