Telemedicine, Cardiologist Licensed in: United States / Virginia / IMLC preferred (not required) Location: 100% Virtual, Remote from any location in the United States Specialist TeleMed (STeM) is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to provide virtual consults in an outpatient and inpatient setting. We are looking for dedicated physicians committed to making a difference in healthcare by providing telemedicine specialist consultations to healthcare systems and the patients who need them the most. Our team consists of board-certified and board-eligible specialists across more than twenty-four medical and surgical subspecialties nationwide. STeM empowers you to deliver excellent care to patients via telemedicine, creating a better work/life balance. Scope of Services • Nuclear stress test interpretation • Holter monitor reads • Echocardiogram interpretation ( echo board certification strongly preferred ) • IP/ED consultation and call services • Outpatient clinic coverage (minimal volume: 4 5 consults/day, Monday Friday) Benefits • Fully remote work from anywhere in the United States • Flexible IP/ED scheduling options, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts • Specialty call shifts (12 or 24 hours) covering hospitals, ERs, and other facilities • Flexible outpatient daytime clinic coverage in blocks of 4 8 hours • Comprehensive training in technology protocols, workflows, and EMR systems • Assistance with state licensing, IMLC, and hospital credentialing • Coverage of costs for approved additional state licenses • Malpractice insurance provided • 1099 independent contractor status Requirements • Medical Degree (MD/DO) • Board Certification in Cardiology required (echo boarded providers may be considered for echo-only coverage) • Active medical state licenses in good standing (Virginia license preferred; IMLC a plus) • DEA license(s), if applicable • Experience using technology to deliver virtual patient care • Willingness to learn and use streamlined EMR tools • Excellent virtual bedside manner and communication skills • Secure work environment free from external noise • Reliable internet connection • Desktop computer, laptop, cell phone, and/or tablet for video visits IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) preferred but not required.
