Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM • 3 years of experience required, first time travelers accepted • Weekend requirements for call coverage only • On-call required - 1 week at a time rotating with all other CVT nurses (currently every 6 weeks) • Float to other specialties when no CVT cases are available • Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts • Work with adult patient population • 20 rooms and 20 beds in unit • 72 hours of orientation provided • Required certifications: BLS, CNOR preferred • Michigan RN license required - must be active by start date, compact license not accepted • Epic experience preferred with training completed during orientation • AHA certification preferred • Must work in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings • Experience required with cardiovascular, thoracic, general surgery, and trauma procedures • Must complete pre-start modules (non-billable, specialty-specific) • 5 day maximum RTO policy per contract Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiovascular operating room with 20 rooms and beds, providing advanced surgical services for adult patients.
