Description Home Health Occupational Therapist - Pittsburgh Oakmont, PA - Part-time, Non-exempt Presbyterian SeniorCare Network Home Health is a Medicare-certified home health agency that provides in-home care and services when a physician prescribes for them. Managed by Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare, our home health professionals make a difference in the lives of older adults by providing skilled nursing services; and physical, occupational, and speech therapy while our patients remain in a comfortable, at-home setting. The Home Health Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy for our in-home patients in accordance with the individual patient's needs and goals as addressed in the plan of care. The Occupational Therapist must have knowledge and understanding of a patient's illness or injury and the ability to assess their needs and plan appropriate interventions. The position works as part of an interdisciplinary home care team including RNs, PTs, SLPs, MSWs, and other licensed and certified professionals to assist the patient in achieving optimal outcomes. R equirements for the Home Health Occupational Therapist: • Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Possess a current license as an occupational therapist from the Commonwealth of PA or have made application for same. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an occupational therapist. Provide a valid driver's license and have use of an automobile in good working condition with evidence of insurance per PA State guidelines. Maintain CPR Certification per company guidelines. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 software and the ability to use electronic charting software and mobile devices.
