(Part Time) Location: Woonsocket, RI Emergency Services - Registered Nurse ( 30 Hours ) Community Care Allianc e is now hiring a full-time Emergency Services (ES) masters-level registered nurse (RN) . ES is an interdisciplinary team of skilled and experienced behavioral health professionals. They respond to a variety of client crises in office- and community-based settings. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative, and nimble in responding to crisis situations, and will maintain an anti-oppression, non-stigmatizing ap proach while working with high-acuity, complex clients. This is a Monday-Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm position, with op portunities for on-call and overtime hours available but never required . Essential qualifications: Proven ability to assess and intervene with clients in crisis Demonstrated knowledge and application of trauma-informed care practices Comfort and familiarity working within larger systems (e.g., with clients, families, hospitals and other providers, law enforcement and first responders, and with other community partners) Awareness of substance use disorders and detoxification protocols Core functions: Primary care and medical screening and coordination Crisis intervention and de-escalation Multi- dimensional assessments utilizing evidence-based tools Completing assessments in office, community, and nursing home settings Providing nursing care to clients in ambulatory detox level of care Education and licensing requirements: Valid RN license, licensed to practice in Rhode Island Independent licensure strongly preferred Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferred - or the candidate will receive free, in-house training to obtain this certification Valid driver's license required To apply for this opening please visit our website www.communitycareri.org and select "Careers" and then "Current Openings" to fill out an application and upload your cover letter and resume.
